Common save locations

These are paths documented by the official wiki; Android file access restrictions and installation methods can change what your file manager shows.

Safe backup workflow

1. Quit the game completely.
2. Copy the save folder to a separate location you control. If two save directories exist on desktop, copy both.
3. Label the backup with its branch and build number.
4. Install or test the new build without deleting the backup.
5. Load a copied save and check progress before relying on the update.

A save does not appear

Look through the game’s load pages and check that the file name kept its expected extension. A duplicate suffix such as “(1)” may prevent recognition. Saves from another branch may show as incompatible. Do not overwrite the only backup while troubleshooting.
