Fix Summertime Saga Install, Launch & Save Errors

Android says “App not installed”

Check free internal storage, confirm the downloaded file completed, and compare the package with any existing installation. Back up saves before uninstalling an older version. If the file came from an unverified source, do not disable device protections merely to force an install.

Black screen or crash at launch

1. Restart the device and close memory-intensive apps.
2. Check that the build is intended for your operating system.
3. Confirm you have space for extracted data and saves.
4. If the issue began after an update, test from a clean launch and compare the build branch.
5. Keep a copy of any saves before reinstalling.

A route seems stuck

Use the in-game phone hints, revisit the last event you definitely completed and check the time of day, required item or stat. Stable and Preview route steps may differ. A missing event is not automatically an installation fault.

Missing or grayed-out save

Compare the save’s original version with your current build and check both save directories on desktop. Restore a copy, not your only backup. The save guide explains common locations and transfer checks.
